
NEL LINES was established in 1972, as a company of popular base with shareholders the residents of Lesvos island and primary aim the purchase of a liner vessel for the Mytilene-Chios-Piraeus route. Since then, the company has expanded, serving most of the Aegean sea destinations.
Today, under new administration and developmental policy, the fleet of NEL LINES constitutes of conventional passenger-ferry boats, high speed passenger- ferry boats and Ro-Ro vessels which fully comply with the International Code of Safety Management (ISM CODE).
Μore specifically, NEL LINES with high speed andconventional passenger-ferry boats executes itineraries between Piraeus, Chios and Mytilene and connects Syros and Lavrion with Eastern, Central and Western Cyclades, Lavrion with Psara and Mesta of Chios, Thessaloniki and Volos with the Sporades complex, the islands of the Region of Northern Aegean (Chios, Mytilene, Ag.Efstratios, Limnos, Samos, Ikaria) with Thessaloniki, Kavala and Lavrion.
With Ro-Ro and Ro-Pax vessels connects Piraeus to Kalymnos, Kos, Rhodes, Ikaria, Syros, Andros, Tinos, Myconos, Paros and Naxos and Corinth to Italy, Igoumenitsa to Corfu and Italy, expanding its operations to the Adriatic Sea.
As from July 2011, NEL Lines connects Mytilene with Dikili and Ayvali in Turkey.
NEL LINES renews its fleet and shapes policies that aim in the improvement of the conditions of tourist traffic and the satisfaction and facilitation of its customers.
